Hannah & Dalton's Downtown Pensacola Wedding

When Hannah contacted me to do her hair & makeup for her wedding, I was so excited! Not only is she beautiful, she is also kind and creative! I knew her wedding would be absolutely incredible.

I wanted over a year for her wedding day to arrive! She worked with an absolutely stellar team of wedding vendors, including Lother Co. for photography and video, Chrissy H. Florals, and 5Eleven Palafox.

When we were discussing her wedding day look, she requested a super bronzed look for her makeup for an overall glow, and a bridal ponytail with lots of volume. She didn't want anything too fussy! Due to the deep v-neck of her dress, I carried her makeup all the way down her neck and chest. I even added a little glow tonic to the tops of her shoulders! For her eyes, I chose some super shimmery shades of rose, peach, and taupe. To keep things as neutral as possible, we didn't use any eyeliner!

Her bridesmaids (check these amazing bridesmaid gowns!) also requested a bronzed look to compliment the rust colored gowns they were wearing. We made the eyes the statement and kept their lips super neutral and nude.

Look at these magnificent flowers! What a compliment to Hannah's overall bridal look!

Shannon's Downtown Pensacola Wedding

When Shannon hired me to do the makeup for her wedding, I was so excited. I very rarely do just makeup! Usually, I do both hair and makeup for the bride and her bridal party, so this was going to be a rare treat for me!

Shannon had 8 bridesmaids and herself all needing their makeup done. What a beautiful group! Her sisters, friends, and future sister-in-law were all so sweet, funny, and kind - I had a great time getting to know each and every one of them.

Shannon was so gracious. She was relaxed all morning, and had very specific goals for her bridal makeup. She wanted a makeup look that was elegant with very little to no shimmer at all. Some brides LOVE shimmer (on their eyelids, on their cheekbones, on their brow bones, on the inside corner of their eye, all over! I've even had a Bride ask me to glaze her like a doughnut!) but Shannon wanted something more classic.

I spent time perfecting her skin. I cleansed her skin first with rose water, then started with a mattifying pore filler to even out her skin's texture. Next I used ShapeTape concealer that I blended out with a beauty blender followed by LORAC POREfection Powder. This created a gorgeous, even coverage, that I could then contour, adding a creme blush and light dusting of highlighter on her cheekbones.

All in all, I had an absolutely fantastic time helping to get Shannon ready to walk down the aisle.

I would love to work with YOU for your special day, too! If you're getting married somewhere along the Gulf Coast, please reach out to me!
